I’ve been an artist my whole life and Tattooing is a passion for me. I love that my art can live on people’s bodies forever, traveling the world, moving, and aging with them. It’s so exciting!

Karen has been an artist her whole life, with a degree in fine art and illustration from University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA. During her 20+ years of being a professional illustrator and portrait artist, she did some traveling and soul-searching before starting her apprenticeship to become a tattoo artist in 2018. She apprenticed under the talented Jason Bradbury at Flatiron Tattoo in Portland, Oregon.

Since then, tattooing has become her passion. She now is the owner as well as an artist at Drawing Board Tattoo. Her favorite part of the job is seeing her art live on people forever, traveling with them, and moving and aging with them.

She describes her styles as traditional, illustrative, and fine line, & she enjoys tattooing in a versatile range of styles.
